Politics is the study of political institutions or systems of government and the people who governed them over time. Politics was one of the fields of study which gained much popularity during the last century. The 20th century witnessed a period of change in the name of politics when mankind came face to face with changing economical conditions. Politics has become one of the major topics of research in modern times.

Politics deals with the arrangement of political power in a society. Politics is the arrangement of actions that are related to creating political power or authority, in terms of groups, or geographical location. The field of political science that studies political systems and politics is known as political science. The study of politics is divided into two parts, namely political science and political administration. The major part of political science is concerned with public policy and political institutions; while the other part of this course focuses on the role of women in politics.

Politics is a systematic approach to organize various strands of political science, bringing together numerous strands of research, including political theory, history of political systems, political science, statistics, and even some aspects of technology and business. Politics also involves analyzing national, local, and universal political systems. It also includes socio-economic aspects such as distribution of wealth, political rights, and freedom. It also studies how politics influences international organizations and their structure.
